12 Agosto 2014 – A Innsbruck vidi questo momento e colsi l’occasione per scattare una foto nella quale cercai di imprimere quella simmetria di due persone appoggiate a due muri che mi colpì; allo stesso tempo notai anche l’asimmetria data dalla diversità delle persone stesse: un uomo e una donna ma anche le facce sorridenti di entrambi come elemento d’unione e di intimità.
Ora, farla rientrare in un genere che io amo e odio allo stesso tempo, ovvero la streetphotography, mi pare eccessivo, se non altro perchè leggo continuamente che alla base della street ci sta uno studio infinito delle persone e delle cose, e non è che uno scatta delle persone in b/n e questo basti a fare della street. Dicono.
Io senza pensare ho visto la situazione, ho avvicinato la macchina fotografica all’occhio e ho scattato. Poi l’ho postprodotta con Lightroom e uno dei filtrini di Vsco, che è un’altra di quelle cose che attira le ire dei fotografi di street.
12 August 2014 – In Innsbruck I saw this moment and took the opportunity to take a picture in which I tried to imprint the symmetry of two people leaning against two walls that struck me; at the same time I also noticed the asymmetry given by the diversity of the people themselves: a man and a woman but also the smiling faces of both as an element of union and intimacy.

Without thinking, I saw the situation, I brought the camera closer to my eye and I took the shot. Then I post-produced it with Lightroom and one of Vsco’s filters, which is another of those things that attracts the anger of street photographers.
