30 maggio 2017 – E così è arrivato anche l’ultimo giorno di escursioni thailandesi. Per non farci mancare nulla siamo andati a vedere anche uno dei più famosi mercati galleggianti. Probabilmente molti anni fa avrà anche avuto una sua vera funzione di mercato rurale, caratterizzato da questi negozi che vendevano di tutto sulle sponde di un fiume, ma oggi mi sento di dire che è poco più che una trappola per turisti. Certo rimane affascinante e caratteristico, ma le anziane che ti si avvicinano in barca per venderti la birra, mi ha fatto perdere un po’ di incanto. Purtroppo è l’effetto nefasto della globalizzazione e del conseguente turismo di massa. Ormai anche qui c’è rimasto poco di autentico.
