THAILAND TOUR – Day #5: Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) e ritorno a Chang Mai

May 27, 2017 – As the sun comes up again in Thailand, we leave again for a new day of exploration. Wake up early, departure from Chang Rai with arrival in Chang Mai where a plane will wait for us, to bring us back to Bangkok, and from there we will fly to the island of Koh Samui to enjoy the sun and cocktails with little umbrellas.

In the middle of the path, we stop at the famous White Temple, as beautiful as despised by the majority of the locals. But I appreciate this mixture of the sacred and the profane, between heroes of the current and the past imaginary. But I am Western, and yet a bit abnormal.

Then start again crossing the heights, crush the naps in the van, and we stop in a beautiful temple in the middle of the jungle of which, however, I can no longer trace the name. There is an impressive Buddha for height and the location is reminiscent of the stories of Indiano Jones.

Shooting with the Pentax and a bit ‘with the phone like the other days during excursions made not just at times favorable to beautiful photography.
