Inaspettata, è scesa la neve.
E così dopo mesi, forse persino un anno, che facevo foto solo a mia figlia e alla mamma, e avevo ormai dimenticato l’esperienza della fotografia all’aperto con la macchina fotografica, l’occasione si è presentata ghiotta in una fredda mattina di dicembre, mentre l’anno volgeva al termine e soprattutto mentre la neonta era all’asilo nido, e noi in ferie.
Ci siamo così precipitati nelle strade del nostro paesino ai piedi della collina e abbiamo goduto di questa speciale atmosfera girovagando qua e là in auto e a piedi.
Dopo qualche foto in pianura, in alcune delle quali ho anche cercato di imitare Wes Anderson, sfidiamo la strada innevata e saliamo sulla vetta del nostro colle, a ben 370m s.l.m., che, saranno anche pochi, ma che ci regalano neve ancora più abbondante.
Pazienza noi che andavamo in giro sotto la neve a fare foto, ma là c’era gente che tentava anche delle improbabili discese con lo snowboard.
Impostando tempi lenti, attorno al 1/125 – 1/250, sono riuscito a mantenere diaframmi attorno a f/4, quindi abbastanza chiusi considerando che, ovviamente, ho scattato con una micro quattroterzi, e cioè la mia E-M5. Gli ISO erano a 200 e quindi le foto non erano rumorose. A creare il rumore nelle foto c’ha pensato la neve.
Unexpected, the snow fell.
And so after months, maybe even a year, that I was taking pictures only of my daughter and her mother, and I had forgotten the experience of outdoor photography, the opportunity presented itself tempting on a cold December morning, while the the year was drawing to a close and especially while the new baby was in the nursery, and we were on vacation.
So we rushed into the streets of our village at the foot of the hill and enjoyed this special atmosphere wandering around by car and on foot.
After a few photos in the plains, in some of which I also tried to imitate Wes Anderson, we challenge the snowy road and climb to the top of our hill, 370m above sea level, which may be few, but which will give us even more abundant snow.
Patience us who went around in the snow to take pictures, but there were people there who also attempted unlikely descents with the snowboard.
By setting slow times, around 1/125 – 1/250, I was able to keep apertures around f / 4, therefore quite closed considering that, of course, I shot with a micro four-thirds, that is my E-M5. The ISO was 200 so the photos weren’t noisy. To create the noise in the snow has thought.
